We accept payment by cash, money orders, cashier's checks, debit cards, and credit cards. Sales tax of 7.725% is added to every sale, and a 3% processing fee is added to payments made by debit and credit cards.

Before submitting payment for a wedding ceremony or venue rental for a party or event, contact us to check availability and make a reservation. Before submitting payment to purchase tickets for a show or performance being held at our venue, contact us to confirm that seats are still available.

 

Upon submitting payment for any event at our venue or service that we offer, including, but not limited to: an elopement, wedding ceremony, reception, traveling officiant, party, event, or tickets to a show, you agree to the Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue's Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fees & Payments

HOW DO I RESERVE A DATE AND TIME FOR A WEDDING OR EVENT?

We do not lock customers into specific time slots or specific amounts of time, so we do not use an online booking system. Contact us to check availability and reserve a date and time for your wedding ceremony or event. We will tell you the total fee based on your method of payment.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept payment by cash, money orders, cashier's checks, debit cards, and credit cards. If you encounter any problem using your card with our payment system, please contact us. There is a 3% processing fee for payments made by debit or credit card.  Payments made by money orders or cashier's checks may be mailed to our venue. If you prefer to pay with cash, contact us to make arrangements. The timeline requirements for deposits and remaining balances apply for all payment methods. 

 

DO WE HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX?

Yes, Missouri requires sales tax to be paid for venue rentals, including wedding and event venues. Sales tax will also be charged on tickets sold for shows and performances held at the venue. The sales tax rate for our location is 7.725%.

HOW DO WE KNOW HOW MUCH THE TOTAL FEE WILL BE?

When you contact us and reserve the venue for your ceremony or event or to check availability to purchase tickets for a performance, we will tell you the total amount that will be due including the sales tax and, if applicable, the processing fee to pay with a debit or credit card.

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO BOOK THE VENUE FOR A WEDDING OR EVENT? 

We do require a 50% deposit at the time of the booking to reserve the venue for a walk-in elopement, full wedding ceremony, wedding reception, party, or event.  If you book your ceremony or event more than 14 days in advance, you may pay just the 50% deposit at that time or the total cost. 

 

WHEN IS THE REMAINDER OF THE WEDDING CEREMONY OR EVENT RENTAL DUE?

The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your ceremony or event. If you book your event less than 14 days before the date, then the full fee is due at the time of booking.

 

ARE THE RENTAL FEES REFUNDABLE?

No. Since we reserve a date and time at our venue exclusively for your ceremony or event, we do not offer refunds on the deposits or rentals fees. If your ceremony or event must be rescheduled, at our discretion, we may apply any fees paid toward the new date, but that is not guaranteed.

HOW DO I GET TICKETS TO A SHOW OR PERFORMANCE HELD AT THE VENUE?

Before purchasing tickets, you MUST contact us to reserve your seats. If you fail to contact us to reserve your seats prior to purchasing tickets, we DO NOT guarantee seating will still be available for any given show. Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. Due to limited seating capacity, we highly recommend that you purchase your tickets to a show or performance in advance. However, based on availability, tickets may be purchased with cash at the event. Please contact us before arriving to confirm availability for tickets you wish to purchase at the door.

HOW DO I KNOW THE TICKET PRICE FOR A SHOW OR PERFORMANCE?

Ticket prices will vary by event and will be listed in our promotional materials and/or on our website. You may also contact us by phone, text, or email to check pricing and availability.

ARE TICKET FEES FOR SHOWS & EVENTS REFUNDABLE?

Refunds are only available if a performance / show is cancelled by the performers or the venue, in which case customers have a choice between their ticket fees being fully refunded or applied toward a future show.
