Terms & Conditions

By making a payment for a ceremony or event at the Venue, traveling officiant services, or purchasing tickets to a show or performance at the Venue, you agree to the Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue's Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

DEFINITIONS OF TERMS

This Terms & Conditions policy shall constitute a valid, binding, and enforceable legal agreement between Wedded Bliss Ceremonies, LLC, a Missouri limited liability corporation, DBA Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue, and its successors and assigns and its Client(s) and Customer(s) (“Client(s)”). For clarity, all references to “us” (and similar words such as “we” and “our”) mean Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC, (regardless of whether or not the words are capitalized), and all references to “you”, “your”, “the customer(s)”, “the client(s)” (and similar words) mean the individual making the booking or purchasing tickets and other services (regardless of whether or not the word is capitalized).


Venue
 

Your booking includes use of Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Events venue at: 107 E. US 69 Highway, Claycomo, MO 64119. Your booking includes use of the available spaces in the parking lot in front of this same building.


Venue Rental for a Wedding / Vow Renewal / Commitment Ceremony Only

(“Ceremony Rental(s)”) includes the following:

• Officiant’s services (ordained minister)

• Chair seating for 50
• Decorated venue
• Bridal lounge
• Groom’s room
• Faux flowers
• Speakers for audio devices
• Venue set up & clean up

 

Venue Rental for a Wedding Reception or other Event (Party, Shower, Family / Company Event, etc. (“Event Rental(s)”) includes the following:         
• Use of up to 10 six-foot tables

• Chair seating for 50
• Decorated venue
• Vases and table runners
• Faux flowers
• Use of fully-equipped kitchen
• Speakers for audio devices
• Venue set up & clean up


Vendors
 

Definition: The term Vendor(s) (“Vendor(s)”) as used in this Terms & Conditions policy refers to any independent supplier of products, services, and contract labor. This includes, but is not limited to: Wedding Planners, Wedding Coordinators, Officiants, Photographers, Florists, Caterers, Bakers, Bartenders, Rental Companies, and any other service providers that Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC or you (the customers) may contract to provide services for your venue rental.

Vendor’s Responsibility 
 

While Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC will make all reasonable attempts to contract with high quality Vendors, Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC is not responsible for the behavior, tardiness, schedule, appearance, products, or services provided by Vendors whether contracted by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC or you (the customers).

 

Event
 

An Event includes Venue Rentals (“Ceremony Rental” or “Event Rental”) for any event including, but not limited to: Wedding Ceremonies, Vow Renewals, Commitment Ceremonies, wedding receptions, parties, showers, and family & company celebrations. An Event also includes shows, performances, and other ticketed events held at our Venue.

 

Performance / Show

 

A Performance, Show, or other Event at our Venue for which tickets are purchased to attend.

 

Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC Event Packages

 

An Event Package (“Event Package(s)”) includes all products, labor, and services provided by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC as listed in this Terms & Conditions policy for each type of Venue Rental (“Ceremony Rental” or “Event Rental”).

Wedding Planner / Event Coordinator
 

Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC does NOT provide a Wedding Planner or Event Coordinator for any event including weddings and receptions. You (the customers) are allowed to contract with and use a wedding planner / coordinator for your wedding ceremony or event.

WEDDED BLISS CEREMONIES LLC TERMS & CONDITIONS

VENUE RENTALS FOR WEDDING CEREMONIES & EVENTS

 

Thank you for booking Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue (the “Venue”). By booking the Venue, you are agreeing to these Venue Rental Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”).

Venue
 

Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue is not responsible for certain aspects of the physical Venue, including, but not limited to: the weather-proofing, neighbors, outdoor noise, and the availability of plumbing, electrical, restrooms, parking lot, and wi-fi. Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue assumes no responsibility or liability for any injuries, illness, theft, or damage incurred by attendees at the Venue for Client’s event, including, but not limited to: clients, guests, and vendors. Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue does allow certain client, guest, or participant decorations with prior approval. Customer, guest, or participant decorations that affix in any way to walls, ceilings, doors, or other permanent structures of any part of the Venue are prohibited. Certain rental timeframes and space limitations do not allow for all desired decorations. Decorations pictured on the website or seen during a Venue tour are illustrative only and are not guaranteed to be present for the Client's Event Package.

Venue Access
 

Subject to these Terms, we grant you, your vendors, and your guests the limited right to access and use the Venue on the event date (the “Event Date”) during the times you selected when making your booking. Payment due for rental time starts as soon as the first client, guest, and/or vendor arrives and ends when the last client, guest, and/or vendor leaves. Due to the nature of our business, we do not allow early access to the Venue. Clients, guests, and vendors who arrive earlier than your specific booking time may be required to wait outside the venue.

Rehearsals
 

Venue bookings for wedding ceremonies do not include ceremony rehearsals. Ceremony rehearsals may be booked separately for an addition fee of $100 per hour with a minimum requirement of a one-hour booking.

​

Capacity & Pets
 

The Venue includes seating for up to 50 guests. Standing guests (excluding those participating in the wedding ceremony) and pets are not permitted for insurance and safety purposes. Registered service animals are permitted.

 

Booking Changes
 

You may not make changes to your booking without our written consent. If you request a change to your Event Date more than 14 days prior to your Event Date, then we will attempt to reschedule your booking, but we are not required to do so. If your booking is rescheduled pursuant to this paragraph, then we will attempt to apply all of your prior payments to the rescheduled booking, but we are not required to do so. 

 

Miscellaneous

 

Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue reserves the right to refuse service to or eject guests from any ceremony or event, including, but not limited to: anyone who disrupts an event, appears intoxicated, or threatens or causes harm or damage to patrons or venue property. Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue reserves the right to ask service animals to be removed if their presence causes disruption of an event and/or a service animal causes or threatens to cause harm or damage to patrons or venue property.

 

Photos

 

Client(s) and their guests may be photographed by the owner or staff during any booked ceremony or event, and Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC has all rights to use these photos, without notice, written or verbal permission, or compensation to client(s) and their guests, in any promotional methods including business websites, Facebook pages, business listings on other sites, print ads, etc. If any client or guest does not want their photographs used for this purpose, they must inform the owner or staff prior to the conclusion of the booked event. However, if a client or guest’s photo appears in our advertising or promotional materials after a ceremony or event, they may contact us by email to request that their photo be removed, in which case we will make all reasonable efforts to do so within ten business days of receipt of their request.

 

CANCELLATION OF WEDDING CEREMONIES, PARTIES, AND EVENTS

General
 

You may not cancel your booking for an elopement, wedding ceremony, or non-ticketed party or event except as provided in these Terms.

 

Notice of Cancellation by Client and Payments Due
 

You may cancel your booking any time prior to 14 days before your event date by providing written notice to us. The effective date of this notice will be determined by the Notice provisions in these Terms. 

 

If your booking is canceled as provided in these Terms, then  we may retain all deposits you paid prior to the effective date of the cancellation. Additionally, if as of the effective date of the cancellation you owe us any deposits, then you shall promptly pay all such deposits to us.

 

If you cancel your booking with less than 14 days’ written notice to us, then you shall promptly pay us (or if already paid, we may retain) all rental fees associated with your booking.

 

Any payments returned by us will be minus credit card processing fees.

 

Notice of Cancellation by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies and Payments Owed

 

Wedded Bliss Ceremonies may cancel your booking at any time by providing written or oral notice to you if: (a) you breach any of your obligations in these Terms; or (b) you, your guests, or your vendors, violate any rules applicable to their use of the Venue.

 

If your booking is canceled as provided in these Terms, then  we may retain all deposits you paid prior to the effective date of the cancellation. Additionally, if as of the effective date of the cancellation you owe us any deposits, then you shall promptly pay all such deposits to us.

 

If you cancel your booking with less than 14 days’ notice to us, then you shall promptly pay us (or if already paid, we may retain) all rental fees associated with your Booking.

 

Any payments returned by us will be minus credit card processing fees.

 

If such circumstances arise necessitating the cancellation or postponement of your event by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC (except as provided for in paragraphs above), for any reason including, but not limited to: Venue unavailability due to power outage, damage to Venue, unavailability of staff for any reason, including, but not limited to: illness, severe weather, etc. the client will have the option to either rebook the event to another date with all applicable fees still due or cancel the event. If the client chooses to cancel the event, then Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC will fully refund all deposits and fees paid up to the time of the cancellation including credit card processing fees.

Effect of Cancellation
 

Upon cancellation of your booking, we may immediately make your booking time available to other clients.

PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS FOR WEDDING CEREMONIES & EVENTS
 

Rental & Service Fees
 

By making a booking, you are agreeing to pay us all Venue Rental fees and other expenses described during the booking process (the “Rental Fees”).

​

Deposits & Payment Schedules
 

All deposits, balances, and fees paid are strictly non-refundable. Same day walk-in elopements may be paid for in advance or at the ceremony. All other bookings for ceremonies, traveling officiant services, and events require a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking with the remaining balance due no later than 14 days before your event. Customers who book more than 14 days in advance of their ceremony or event may pay the entire fee due at the time of booking if they prefer.

 

Rush Bookings
 

If you book within 14 days of the Ceremony of Event Date, we require you to pay all required fees at the time of booking.

​

Additional Payment Terms
 

In all cases, deposits will be applied to your total Rental Fees and are non-refundable and non-transferable except as otherwise provided in these Terms or by us in writing. If you fail to make any payment to us when due, then we may cancel your booking without any liability to Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC. You shall promptly pay all sales, use, excise, and any other taxes and license fees which are required to be paid by you in connection with your booking to all governmental and licensing authorities and, at our request, provide evidence of such payment to us.

 

Fee and Payment Schedule

 

All wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties, and events booked less than 14 days before the event date require 100% payment due at the time of booking. Same day walk-in elopements may be paid for in advance or at the ceremony.

All payments for weddings and events require 7.725% for sales tax and, for payments made by debit or credit card, a 3% processing fee.

WEDDED BLISS CEREMONIES LLC TERMS & CONDITIONS – TICKETED EVENTS

 

Thank you for purchasing tickets to a show, performance, or other event being held at Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue (the “Venue”). By purchasing tickets, you are agreeing to these Venue Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”).

 

Ticket Prices

 

Ticket prices will be listed in our promotional materials and/or on our website. Ticket prices will vary by event.

 

Confirm Availability Before Purchasing Tickets

 

Before purchasing tickets, you MUST contact us to reserve your seats. If you fail to contact us to reserve your seats prior to purchasing tickets, we DO NOT guarantee seating will still be available for any given show.

 

Payment

 

In all cases, tickets purchased for a show, performance, or other event are non-refundable except as otherwise provided in these Terms or by us in writing. Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. We highly recommend that you purchase your tickets to a show or performance in advance due to our limited seating capacity. However, tickets may, upon availability, be paid for with cash at the event.

 

Venue

VENUE RULES
 

Venue Address
 

We recommend you use the following address for invitations and navigation devices: 107 E. US 69 Highway, Claycomo, MO 64119.

Parking & Drop Off
 

Your booking includes use of available spaces in the parking lot directly in front of the Venue. Please note that access to the parking lot is only possible when traveling north on 69 Highway so that you turn right off of 69 Highway into the lot.

​

Deliveries
 

You may not have items delivered to the Venue without our prior written consent. We are not responsible for any items which you may have delivered to the Venue, whether with or without our consent.

​

Prohibited Items
 

For safety and cleanup reasons, you may not bring or use any of the following items on Venue property (inside the Venue or in the Venue’s parking lot) unless approved by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC in writing in advance of the Event: aisle runners, real flower petals, confetti, rice, any item that gets tossed or thrown, fireworks, or other venue decor not approved by us in advance. If beverages are served at any event, non-disposable drinking cups must be used—glass is strictly prohibited except for two glasses / flutes that the wedding couple may use. Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the Venue property.

Allowed Items

 

You (clients, guests, vendors) are allowed to use these Venue’s items or your own: officiants, music, flowers, and decorations that do not affix to any permanent structure at the Venue (including ceilings, doors, and walls. Artificial flower petals may be used indoors. Bubbles and streamers / shakers may be used outdoors.
 

Wi-Fi Availability
 

The Venue does have access to Wi-Fi and can accommodate network service but makes no guarantee that such services will be available during your Event due to any circumstances including, but not limited to, network outage.

 

Outside Beverages
 

You may bring outside beverages into the Venue for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, parties, and non-ticketed events. However, you must provide disposable cups. Non-disposable glassware is prohibited (except for two glasses/flutes for the couple celebrating their wedding). Alcohol may be served at the Venue, but may not be sold at the Venue under any circumstances. Venue rental for a wedding ceremony only does NOT include use of the kitchen facilities or event tables.

 

No outside beverages are allowed at ticketed events, shows, and performances.


Outside Food
 

You may bring outside food into the Venue for wedding receptions, parties, and non-ticketed events. Venue rental for a wedding ceremony only does NOT include use of the kitchen facilities or event tables.

 

No outside beverages are allowed at ticketed events, shows, and performances.

Your Property
 

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any property which you, your vendors, or your guests bring to the Venue. Rather, you and those third parties shall assume full responsibility for damage, loss, and theft of the same.

Our Property

 

Damage and Theft of Venue Property
 

For ticketed shows, performances, and events, you are liable for any damage caused whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act to the Venue’s premises or property caused by you, a guest, a vendor or vendor’s staff, or any other person in attendance at your event whether or not they are part of the event during your rental or event.

 

For elopements, wedding ceremonies, and non-ticketed parties and events, you are liable for any damage caused whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act to the Venue’s premises or property caused by you, a guest, a vendor or vendor’s staff, or any other person in attendance at your event whether or not they are part of the event during your rental or event.

 

Damage to the rooms, walls, ceilings, floors, fixtures, furnishings, decorations, and equipment, including the removal of any Venue property, will be charged at 150% of full and new replacement value plus any taxes, shipping, and handling charges. Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC has the right to charge the client’s credit /debit card or recoup payment via cash in such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage become known after your event has ended, we reserve the right to contact you to authorize us to charge your payment for any damage incurred to the Venue or our property during your rental or event, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, etc. We will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum, but it will be up to our discretion to hire outside companies / contractors as we deem necessary to fully repair any damages. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

 

FORCE MAJEURE
 

Notwithstanding anything contrary in these Terms, neither you nor Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC will be liable to the other for any delay or non-performance of its obligations in these Terms provided (a) the delay or non-performance is caused by a Force Majeure Event that is beyond the reasonable control of such party that makes it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to perform; and (b) the delayed or non-performing party provides prompt written notice to the other party of the delay or non-performance. “Force Majeure Event” means an unforeseen emergency including without limitation, endemics, acts of God, war, unforeseen government regulation, terrorism, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, and any government, health, or other advisory that travel or events should/may not be undertaken.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
 

Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue assumes no liability due to the quality of items or services brought,  purchased, or rented by, for, and/or on behalf of the Client. We assume no responsibility for any damage or loss of any valuables prior to, during, or after the Event. Client understands that during the Event and, as a result of utilizing the services provided by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue, that accidents, breakage, and damage may occur. We assume no responsibility for any injuries. We assume no responsibility for any damage or harm caused by service animals. Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue assumes no responsibility for the conduct of clients, guests, and/or vendors and other third parties.

 

Client hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue from all liability, claims, suits, losses, costs, and legal fees caused by, arising out of, or resulting from services provided by Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue in the performance and/or failure to perform within the scope of provided services.  
 

Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue will not be liable for the failure to perform any obligation under this Terms & Conditions policy if the failure is caused by any circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, strikes, work stoppages, accidents, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, natural catastrophes, acts of God, and interruptions, loss of use, or malfunctions of utilities.

 

Except as otherwise expressly provided in these Terms, Wedded Bliss Ceremonies & Event Venue hereby specifically disclaims all warranties, implied or express, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We shall not be liable for any action or omission of you, your guests, your vendors, or any third party. We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, sales, or revenues, loss of use, interruption of business, or damages arising out of our services under these Terms. We shall not be liable to you under these Terms for consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, indirect, or incidental damages. Our liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us under these Terms in the 12-month period immediately prior to the date your claim arose.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & INDEMNIFICATION

 

You acknowledge that there is risk of injury and damage arising out of the use of the Venue and you voluntarily assume all of the same. You hereby release and discharge us and all of our representatives from all responsibility and liability from such injury or damage to you, your guests, and your vendors and/or their property, except to the extent such injury or damage arises through our or our representatives’ sole negligence or intentional misconduct.

Indemnification
 

With respect to any suit, claim, investigation, or proceeding, arising out of these Terms, you shall indemnify us and our affiliates and our and their respective owners, directors, officers, managers, employees, and contractors (the “Protected Parties”) against all losses arising out of your breach of or misrepresentation in these Terms or any negligent or intentional act or omission by you or any of your vendors or guests, except to the extent that a protected party negligently or intentionally caused those losses. “Losses” means all reasonable expenses including attorneys’ fees and costs, plus all damages of every kind. Without limiting the foregoing, this indemnification shall apply and cover all forms of injury and damage to and/or destruction of personal and private property caused by you, your guests, and your vendors.

MISCELLANEOUS

 

Additional Parties
 

If you are making your booking on behalf of another person (or for a business entity), then “you” means both you and that other person (or business entity) and all terms of this Terms & Conditions policy apply to both you and the person / business entity for whom you are making the booking.

​

Joint & Several Liability 
 

If “you” includes more than one individual/entity, then each individual/entity shall be liable for all of your obligations in these Terms and the liability of each individual/entity shall be joint and several.

 

Entire Agreement
 

These Terms contain the complete and entire Terms & Conditions policy between the parties relating to the subject matter in these Terms and supersede all prior discussions and agreements (whether oral or written) by the parties relating to the subject matter in these Terms.

Amendment & Waiver
 

No amendment to these Terms shall be deemed valid unless it is in writing and signed physically or digitally by all of the parties. The failure or delay by a party to exercise any right or remedy in these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of the same. The waiver by a party of a breach of any provision in these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of any subsequent breach. A waiver shall not be effective unless and until it is in written form and signed by the waiving party.​

Severability 
 

Each provision in these Terms shall be treated as separate and independent of the other provisions. Accordingly, if a court with competent jurisdiction declares a provision in these Terms unenforceable, then the provision should be limited to the minimum extent necessary so that it remains enforceable. If such an amendment is not possible, then the unenforceable provision should be deemed removed from these Terms, but the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.​

Assignment
 

These Terms and the rights and obligations in these Terms may not be assigned by either party without the prior written consent of the other party, except that we may assign our obligations in these Terms in their entirety in connection to an acquisition, merger, or other change of control. For clarity, you may not market or sell your rights under these Terms to any third party without our prior and express written consent.

Notices
 

Unless otherwise provided in these Terms, all notices and demands contemplated in these Terms or applicable law shall be in writing (with all delivery expenses prepaid) and addressed to the proper address in this section (or to the recipient’s most current address that has been delivered to the other parties in accordance with this section). All properly sent notices and demands shall be deemed delivered as follows: (a) if delivery is by hand, then at the time of the actual hand delivery; (b) if delivery is by email, then at the time the intended recipient provides non-automated, express or implied, confirmation of receipt (either in a physical writing or by email); or (c) if by overnight delivery using a nationally recognized overnight courier, then one business day after having been given to the courier. Notices sent to you must be sent to the name and address/email you used when making your booking. Notices sent to us must be sent to: Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC at 107 E. US Highway 69, Claycomo, MO 64119.

 

Governing Law & Waiver of Jury Trial
 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Missouri, excluding its conflict of law principles. For any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, each party consents to jurisdiction in, and the exclusive venue of, the state courts in Clay County, Missouri, or when applicable in the U.S. District Court having jurisdiction over that county. Each party waives trial by jury in all actions, proceedings, and counterclaims brought by either party against the other on any matter that arises out of or is related to these Terms.

Collection Fees
 

If you breach any of your payment obligations in these Terms and Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC incurs expenses in collecting the same (including all costs and expenses and reasonable attorneys’ fees), then you shall reimburse Wedded Bliss Ceremonies LLC for all of those expenses.
